Our friends at Beyond Pix are having a swap meet this weekend!  Read on for more information directly from them:

The Swap Meet is this Saturday, September 15th, and we hope anyone and everyone will come and support the event.  It’s our way of promoting and supporting our local film, video and online media community.

If you have something to sell, it’s a great way to find a buyer and for your gear to get a new life or upcycled by someone else.  If you’re just starting out or looking to expand your repertoire, it’ll be an awesome place to find a good deal.  Above all, a Swap Meet is one of the original social networking ideas where you can meet new people, see old friends and have a good time.  It’ll be a Saturday morning well worth the effort.

We’re hosting this as an industry oriented flea market, but you happen to have other stuff that you want to get rid of, just bring other items along too.  You know someone will buy that tennis racket, a bike or tools you’ve outgrown.  Bring them all.

We hope this serves as catalyst for the community to get together in person more often and perhaps, it’ll develop as an event we repeat every six months.  Nothing beats the power of word of mouth and you passing along the information so please forward this to anyone you can think of.  A hot dog cart will be there for your convenience should you need a snack.
