Our friends at Beyond Pix are having a swap meet this weekend! Read on for more information directly from them:
The Swap Meet is this Saturday, September 15th, and we hope anyone and everyone will come and support the event. It’s our way of promoting and supporting our local film, video and online media community.
If you have something to sell, it’s a great way to find a buyer and for your gear to get a new life or upcycled by someone else. If you’re just starting out or looking to expand your repertoire, it’ll be an awesome place to find a good deal. Above all, a Swap Meet is one of the original social networking ideas where you can meet new people, see old friends and have a good time. It’ll be a Saturday morning well worth the effort.
We’re hosting this as an industry oriented flea market, but you happen to have other stuff that you want to get rid of, just bring other items along too. You know someone will buy that tennis racket, a bike or tools you’ve outgrown. Bring them all.
We hope this serves as catalyst for the community to get together in person more often and perhaps, it’ll develop as an event we repeat every six months. Nothing beats the power of word of mouth and you passing along the information so please forward this to anyone you can think of. A hot dog cart will be there for your convenience should you need a snack.

The Big Picture took a walk down Fifth Street today to ham it up in front of a picture of…well, us! As we mentioned last July Circle Bank chose The Big Picture to represent one of their local small business clients in an advertisement. That advertisement is now being displayed on the front of Circle Bank’s Fifth Street branch. Swing by and take a look!
Why not start the new year off with a trip to Mammoth Lakes? Nestled in the wintry slopes of the Eastern Sierra, Mammoth Mountain is a beautiful escape from the daily grind. With just the right balance of adventure and serenity it’s no wonder this is one of our favorite places to retreat! For the next 7 days Living Social is offering 50% off one nights stays in Mammoth Lakes, CA with “The Magic of Mammoth Lakes Escape.” Take the weekend off and go enjoy the slopes with our premier partner Mammoth Mountain!

Circle Bank chose The Big Picture to represent an example of their local small business clients for a recent advertisement featured in Northbay Biz Magazine.
We are a company that prefers to work with local businesses. Circle Bank has provided us with great service for several years, and they also always have fresh baked cookies in their office. We are honored to represent them in Northbay Biz Magazine.
