AIDS Walk San Francisco

The San Francisco AIDS Walk is a fundraiser benefiting the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.  For 25 years people from all over the Bay Area meet at Sharon Meadows in Golden Gate Park and walk 10 Kilometers in hopes of someday finding a cure for AIDS.  On Sunday, July 15th The Big Picture’s very own Renée and her Mom, Judy participated in the 6 mile walk, raising over $900 between the two of them!  As a sponsor to the cause, we applaud Renée and Judy’s efforts and hard work.

Just Trying to Get Some Credit Here…

Proof Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Program Can Rocket You to Success:

In 2009, The Big Picture discovered Bryan Pate and the Elliptigo at the Cool Gadget Expo at Stanford.  As part of the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards show, we proudly exploited the benefits of this innovative machine.  Created by Bryan and Brent in San Diego, the Elliptigo is essentially an elliptical machine for the road!  The Elliptigo has single handedly brought back running to avid runners with injured knees and hips who can only preform low impact exercising.

Recently, an Elliptigo rider from San Anselmo, CA was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle!  Check out his story along with The Big Picture’s involvement with the Elliptigo at the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year show.  We are proud to have discovered them:

A Fruitful Future for Earthbound Farm

Office foodies Alona, Kristen and Willow have long been educating the office on the importance of organic produce.  After our October shoot at Earthbound Farm most of us at The Big Picture have jumped on the organic train too. We were so excited to find out our friends at Earthbound Farm have formally launched a fruit division. Now organic fruit will be easier to get our hands on and because Earthbound Farm is already a leader in organic salad, we have no doubt this new division will be just as fruitful!

As we mentioned last July Circle Bank chose The Big Picture to represent one of their local small business clients in an advertisement. That advertisement is now being displayed on the front of Circle Bank’s Fifth Street branch. Swing by and take a look!
